Sooooo, just when you think the Alicia Keys controversy has died down and talks homewreckers are over for the moment, a new lady takes the title. The newcomer being American Idol 2004 herself, Fantasia Barrino. Let?s Be Honest does not profess to know all the intimate details of those situations and we don't really particularly care. The bigger issue is why is Alicia still accepted, supported and still loved by the world while Fantasia Barrino is out casted ? Fantasia seems to think because she is a "dark-skinned, full-lipped sister" it has heightened the negativity. Alicia Keys on the other hand would fit into what Fantasia sees as "long hair, light eyes, light-skinned" which has always been seen as "better" than darker skin especially in the Black community. Did Alicia get a easy pass for relationship with Swizz Beatz because of her skin color while Fantasia got lynched ? Hmmm, lets think about character and what both women have presented to the public. Sorry Fantasia, we love you but, your slate has not been so clean. We can't forget the Jamie Foxx and Fantasia kissing scene on the B.E.T awards in 2006 nor does the image of unstable baby mama high school drop out help. So we ask is this about complexion or character ?
Both of them are silly and both are homewreckers. When are women going to stop falling for the whole "my marriage is so unbearable, I am leaving my wife, could you help me out by giving me some?" Stupid broads. Even if he actually does leave her and you marry him, it is a ticking time bomb, eventually he will do the same to you.
